In this video, I will demonstrate the manipulation of vectors in component form using sample exam questions under the Extension 1 Maths (3U) course. Examples include:

• Addition and subtraction of vectors

• Illustrating the position vector on the Cartesian plane

• How to perform calculations in component form

• Dot product (or scalar product) and some key properties

• Scalar and Vector Projection

• Vectors in geometry

• Harder exam questions

This is relevant for both Year 11 and Year 12 students preparing for HSC Mathematics and HSC Maths Extension 1 for 2020 and onwards.
